Cornerstone Issues

- Economic diversification and job training

- Financial stability for the state and Wyoming’s hardworking families

- Funding for education including competitive pay to retain our talented teachers

- Access to affordable healthcare, mental health and suicide prevention

I Believe in Civility, Collaboration & Helping Neighbors

I believe strong communities come from having a diversity of voices around the table, including those of different political backgrounds, genders, races, abilities and socio economic status. As Wyoming navigates the impacts of inflation, I will continue to serve House District 14 by building relationships based on trust and common vision; working along side my constituents and colleagues, especially those whose opinions differ from mine. I will lead by example, with hard work, empathy and care for others.

In Strengthening the Economy

I believe the building blocks of a strong economy are:

  1. Dedicated local and state leadership

  2. Infrastructure, including:

    a. Access to affordable healthcare and mental health services

    b. Safe, quality schools including pre-school, vocational training, and higher ed

    c. Affordable housing

    d. Widespread and reliable Internet connections

  3. Workforce training and jobs that pay a living wage

  4. Quality of life amenities:

    a. Vibrant communities

    b. Access to public spaces and outdoor recreation

    c. Arts and culture

    d. Farmers markets and co-ops that support local farmers and ranchers

In Resiliency for Wyoming

I support small businesses and entrepreneurs, gig and remote workers, family owned farms and ranches, creatives & makers as the backbone of our economy.

The majority of new jobs come from existing small businesses that make up 95.6% of all Wyoming companies. The 17,158 small businesses in Wyoming employee 131,499 Wyoming residents, or 63% of all Wyoming employees, and account for 55.8% of the state’s payroll. (Data provided by the Wyoming Small Business Development Center’s 2019 Annual Report and the U.S. Small Business Administration Office of Advocacy 2019 Small Business Profile for Wyoming).

I believe local entrepreneurs are best-posed to identify solutions to community challenges and build business and job opportunities to solve them. By investing in those who have chosen to call Wyoming home, we will create more resilient local and statewide economies.

I believe the diversification of our economy will lead to a more resilient Wyoming.
